Who are we?

The band that put Rockabilly music back in Northern california! Thanks to a striking visual 1950’s style brought “up to date” with exaggerated pompadours and colorful tattoos, as well as genuine musical chops that evoked the best players of rockabilly’s original heyday. Our music has a rhythm that is rock solid yet loose, with that singer can croon with style.  The guitar playing demands respect. The bassist is elegant yet hard, jazzy yet completely rockabilly!!

Upcoming events

The Rockabilly Love Cats will be taking the stage with Frankie and the defenders DEC 7th at the Opera House Saloon in Roseville Ca.

Testimonials

Their style of rockabilly music is a wild, hepped-up meeting between early rock 'n roll and old school rhythm & blues.

Played with spare instrumentation in true rockabilly style, with a twangy electric guitar and an acoustic stand-up bass whose strings are snapped percussively in a technique called "slap-back".

Their music catalog consists of hits by rockabilly legends such as Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Johnny Burnette, and Elvis Presley. Along with top hit covers, the Rockabilly Love Cats also have a number of original songs, you can sample them on Reverb Nation and YouTube.

Whether it's a barn, backyard, or main stage, The Rockabilly Love Cats will make every event a full-fledged rockabilly revival experience and a rowdy good time!

The Rockabilly Love Cats formed in 2013 and are based out of Grass Valley.

They were recently nominated by the readers of Sacramento News & Review for best rockabilly band 2016 I know that I will be voting!!!

Fequently asked Questions

Q: Is Pomade okay for your hair??

A: Many pomades are water-based, so they're lightweight and wash out easily. For a slicked back look, apply to wet hair and style as desired. If you have dry hair or want a flexible hold, pomade is your ideal product. Look for pomades with a matte finish for everyday wear, and apply it to dry hair as you would a wax.

Q: Do you play weddings A: Yes we do

Q: Would you play my bar mitzvah?

A: You bet tommy, we would!!

Q: How important is music in your life?

A: No Music No life, Know Music Know Life
